Its beginnings were as a pizzeria but then, thanks to the professionalism of the Bettio family, it became a “trattoria serving pizza”. La Taverna focuses mainly on traditional seafood dishes rather than pizzas (these are great, but they have taken second place on the menu). Quality and freshness are the essential features of La Taverna’s cuisine. Dishes are references to traditional, local cooking, without needless sophisticated touches, such as the Antipasto Taverna which many have tried to imitate but without success. Its basic philosophy is to use top quality, freshly caught fish from the Adriatic, depending on what the market offers that day. La Taverna’s wine list has a carefully selected number of labels from the Triveneto area and the rest of Italy. There is a daily taster menu consisting of five courses (euro 25, drinks not included), then every Thursday, there is a traditional dinner based on local dishes with a seven course taster menu (euro€ 25, drinks not included).
