JESOLO A TAVOLA IS OUT EARLY

The new Jesolo a Tavola guide is out early, so those who want to find the right place to eat don’t have to wait for Summer. In fact for the first time the compendium linked to the most important and long-running food and wine festival of the city - Jesolo a Tavola – will be published in March, also due to the fact that it will be distributed abroad. This is an advantage, as Jesolo is not just a resort to be experienced from May to September and, as a result, the guide has decided to adapt to these new, stimulating circumstances,
involving first and foremost leading culinary professionals.

THE JAT GUIDE, A DIARY OF DEVOTION

We all know that the fine food and wine Jesolo offers is a fundamental element of its appeal as a tourist destination. It is slightly more difficult, however, to present this gastronomic heritage, by bringing together every combination of taste and culinary skill, knowledge and interpretation - the immense wealth produced by
our local land and sea every day. This is why Jesolo a Tavola is not just a guide, but a diary that reflects the devotion of those who love great food.

AN IMPORTANT ACHIEVEMENT

A sixteenth anniversary is an important achievement for any editorial project, even though the time has passed astonishingly quickly. It was Spring 1996 when Next Italia, which is still the company that publishes Jesolo a Tavola, decided to create a wine and food festival that would focus on tradition and the area’s culinary wealth. The fact that Jesolo a Tavola is still an important reference point for all those who love good food is extremely satisfying. Join us on our culinary journey and we’re sure you’ll be surprised once again.

Agroindustrial excellence is not just a question of taste, but also of objective figures and the quality and taste of the Veneto region are found in an enormous range of food products whose characteristics go far beyond the minimal requirements imposed by law.
The area has 16 Protected Denomination of Origin products, 18 Protected Geographical Indication products, 27 Controlled Denomination of Origin wines and 11 Controlled and Guaranteed Denomination of Origin wines, as well as 7 Typical Geographical Indication products that combine typical features, quality and quantity. The position of excellence that our region has earned within Europe is completed by another 367 traditional products.
In short, we are Italy’s leading region for denominated products and the second for traditional specialities, which include virtually all categories of agroindustrial products: meat, fruit and vegetables, cheese, pulses and rice, etc. We have the utmost in taste, quality, safety and guarantees. Every area has its 0 km treasures,
produced by the local countryside and nature’s rhythms and seasons.
The Jesolo – Cavallino – Treporti coastline has, for example, a vast range of extremely valuable local produce that is well worth discovering and tasting: tomatoes and jujubes from Cavallino, yellow plums from Lio Piccolo, as well as barena honey, Montine bitter green asparagus, the fagiolino meraviglia (mangetout) and
white peaches and pears from the Venice area, to name just a few.
The Veneto’s quality agroindustrial products are obtained by following precise rules but, above all, through extreme dedication and care for the land: regulations are only arid points of reference if there is no passion for creating the very best. The Veneto region offers an integrated, continually controlled and monitored system
whose aim is to ensure consumers and purchasers have the maximum traceability, reliability, safety, quality and taste in its products.
